About Us

The BongCloud Chess Club started its journey to encourage recognition of the sporting, artistic, and intellectual qualities of chess, enhance chess skill level and appreciation of chess at the local level.

Eligibility

The tournament is open to all.

Entry Fee

Rs.500.00, 25% discount for differently-abled Players. Entries will be closed by 14th May 1700 Hrs, On the Spot Entries will not be allowed.

Time Control

15 Minutes + 05 Seconds Increment from Move 1

System of Play

The tournament will be conducted as per the FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss System with 05 rounds.

Tie Break

In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come into effect. The Cash prizes will not be shared.

Wrist Watches & Mobile Phones

Players are instructed not to wear electronic wrist watches while playing, Mobile Phones must be kept in the Switch Off Mode. Violating the rule in the above both cases will be led to the loss of the game.

COVID Guidelines

Players are requested to wear their marks throughout the tournament and sanitise their hands before and after each round. Players are requested bring their own masks and sanitizers.

Trophy & Certificates

Top 3 players will be awarded with trophy and the Participation certificates will be awarded to all the players.

Mode of Payment for Cash Prizes

The Cash Prizes will be transferred online through UPI or Bank Transfer.

Chess Board & Clocks

The Chess Boards (International Standard) will be provided to all the participants. You all are requested to not bring any of the equipment. By any means, the Chess Clocks will not be available at Venue; Mobile App Chess Clocks can be used.

Coffee/Tea & Snacks

Morning & Evening Coffee/Tea and Light Snacks will be available at venue or nearby at minimal prices.
