Guidelines:
- Games will be played in Swiss League format.
- Tournament will be played on Sunday, Aug 10th starting 9AM in CH
- Registration & Confirmed payment by Aug 7th is mandatory. Withdrawal will be allowed on or before Aug 7th only by sending an email to sports_ch@aprcp3.in, no refunds will be entertained post that.
- In case of any conflicts the Sports Committee's decision will be final.
- To register in another category you will have to fill up applicable form again.
Sports Fest Rules:
- Min 4 participants required in each category for event to be conducted. Failing which event will be cancelled and refund issued to participant. Sports SC decision will be final in this regard.
- Registration/Withdrawal only allowed upto previous Tuesday preceding the event weekend (Sat/Sun). E.g.: For event scheduled on weekend of Aug 23rd/24th, last day for registration/withdrawal will close by previous Tuesday, Aug 19th
- For category eligibility, 1/Aug/2025 will be considered as the benchmark date. No exceptions will be possible
- No Spot Registration.
- Decision of Sports SC will be final in case of conflicts
- In case of multiple categories, a participant is allowed to participate in max of 3 categories only/sport
Guidelines and Rules of Tournament:
- A player will be declared lost if he/she does not come 15 minutes after the start of game.
- If a player touches a piece, they must move it.
- Castling should be done by using only one hand and King should be moved first.
- No one is allowed to interfere when a game is in progress.
- If a player makes TWO illegal moves, then the game will be declared as 'lost' and opponent wins.
- After the game is over, please report your result.
- Maximum 1 hour per game
- If the game is progressing slowly, after 40 mins. Chess Clock will be introduced with 10 mins for each player. These applies for all the categories.
- Chief Arbiter's call will be final in all situations
