1. A match shall consist of the best of 3 games, 11 points each.
2. The first player to win 11 points wins a game, unless both players have 10 points, then a player must win by 2 points.
3. The right to choose the initial order of serving, receiving, or ends shall be decided by toss.
4. The order of serving shall alternate after every two points until the end of the game unless both players score 10 or more points, at which time the serve will alternate every point.
5. The serve shall pass over the net and touch the opponent’s court, either directly or after touching the net assembly.
6. A let is called if the serve is obstructed or otherwise interrupted.
7. A player scores a point if his or her opponent fails to make a good service or a good return.
8. Players shall change ends after each game and in the deciding game of a match, the players change ends when the first player reaches 5 points

6. Number of matches won
The first and most direct tie-breaker is usually the number of matches won within the competition. The player or team with more wins progresses or takes the higher ranking.
7. Game difference -
A. If a tie persists after considering the head-to-head result (e.g., in a multi-team tie or if the head-to-head was also tied), the game difference is typically considered.
B. This refers to the difference between the total number of games won and games lost throughout the tournament or qualifying stage.
C. The player or team with the greater positive game difference will be ranked higher.
8. Points difference
A. If the tie still remains after considering game difference, the points difference comes into play.
B. This is the total points won minus the total points lost throughout the competition.
C. The player or team with the greater positive point difference is ranked higher.
