đź“‹ Official Rulebook & Tournament Guidelines
Venue: SportzHive - Mahadevapura
Timings: 9AM - 5PM
1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Participants must be employees of any Private / Public Sector company Valid proof required: Official Company Email ID or Physical Company ID Card No age restrictions Players may partner with individuals from different companies (valid proof required) Ex-service personnel and medical professionals are allowed 2. TOURNAMENT CATEGORIES Men’s Singles (MS) Men’s Doubles (MD)
3. TOURNAMENT FORMAT Format: League + Knockout Structure
Stage 1: Pool Stage Players/teams divided into groups of 4 Round-robin within each group Each participant gets minimum 3 matches Stage 2: Qualification Top 2 from each pool → Championship Bracket
Stage 3: Knockouts Single elimination format Includes Pre-quarters, Quarterfinals, Semifinals & Finals
4. MATCH FORMAT Pool Matches: 21 points (Deuce Point at 20-20) Knockouts: 21 points (Deuce Point at 20-20) Finals: 30-point single set
5. EQUIPMENT Matches will be played using Mavis 350 Nylon Shuttles Players must bring their own rackets and gear Proper sports attire is mandatory
6. SCORING & RANKINGS Standard rally-point scoring system on the Athletiq app. Live scores and standings will be displayed on the Athletiq App. Player rankings will contribute to: Monthly Leaderboards Seasonal Rankings 7. REPORTING & SCHEDULING Players must report at least 10 minutes before their scheduled match Failure to report on time may result in walkover Match schedule will be strictly followed
8. GAME RULES & FAULTS A fault is called if:
Shuttle lands outside court boundaries Shuttle does not land in correct service court Player touches the net or poles during play Shuttle is hit twice consecutively by the same player/team Illegal service action Only the referee has the authority to:
Call IN/OUT Judge service faults Decide net violations
9. CODE OF CONDUCT Arguing with referees will result in disqualification Referee’s decision is final and binding Unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated Athletiq reserves the right to disqualify any player/team at any stage 10. GENERAL GUIDELINES Participants are responsible for their personal belongings Organizers are not liable for: Injuries Loss/damage of personal items Matches will run on a tight schedule, delays will not be accommodated In case of disputes, tournament officials’ decision is final 11. TERMS & CONDITIONS Registration fees are non-refundable Players must provide valid employment proof upon request On-ground verification may be conducted before matches Athletiq reserves the right to: Modify schedules Postpone events Disqualify participants if necessary Player images/videos may be used for marketing and promotional purposes Participation implies acceptance of all rules and decisions 12. MINIMUM PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT : 20+ Across Each Category Minimum number of entries
