•       The first serve for each side starts on the right-hand side.

•       If the serving team wins the point, only players on the serving team swap sides.

•       If the receiving team wins the point, no players switch sides of the court.

•       The server keeps the serve until their team loses a point.

•       Once the serving team loses the point, the serve either: Passes to the second server, or Passes to the opponent's team (if both players on the serving team have already served).

Scoring:

•       Points on Serve: Only the serving team can score points.

•       Winning the Game: Games are typically played to 11 points, and a team must win by two points (Golden 15)

Serving:

•       Baseline: The server must have at least one foot behind the baseline when serving

•       One Serve Attempt: Only one serve attempt is allowed, except in the case of a "let" serve (a serve that touches the net and lands in the correct service box).

Double Bounce Rule:

•       Initial Bounce: After the serve, the receiving team must let the ball bounce once before returning it.

•       Second Bounce: Then, the serving team must also let the ball bounce once before returning it.

 Volleys:

•       After the ball has bounced once on each side, players can volley (hit the ball in the air) or play it off a bounce.

•       Non-Volley Zone (NVZ) or "Kitchen": Volley Restriction: Players cannot volley the ball while standing in the NVZ.

•       Foot Fault: Stepping into the NVZ while volleying is a fault.

Scoring:

•       Points on Serve: Only the serving team can score points.

•       Winning the Game: Games are typically played to 11 points, and a team must win by two points.
