Tournament Details

2020 is the year that never meant to be ... errr we are at loss of words. 🤷‍♂️

At least getting back to our favorite sports and competing must make up for the year that is lost. We hope to bring that cheer back in this last month of the year with a F.U.2020 series of tournaments in Squash, Badminton and Table Tennis.

F.U. 2020 SWYNG Squash Tournament on Saturday 12( & Sunday 13) Dec 2020, at SWYNG Squash Sarjapur Road.

The last date to register is Thursday 10 Dec 2020

COVID19 Precautions:

- The courts, center premises, seating area, wash rooms will be thoroughly sanitized prior to the start of the tournament.

- The door knobs & other high frequent touch points will be sanitized periodically.

- All participants & other entering the center will be temperature screened.

- Matches will be scheduled staggered to avoid crowding.

- Hand sanitizers & hand wash liquids will be available as usual.

- Players are advised to exercise their personal safety precautions, observe their symptoms, carry their own water and sweat wipes.

-Categories : Men's Open, Men's Over 40 & Under 17

-Maximum Participation: 32 players in each category

-Both boys & girls can participate in Under 17 age category

-Participation Fee: Rs. 500/-

-Format: Round Robin League cum Knockout. League within groups of 4 and the top player from each group will proceed to play knockout matches. Matches after initial league round on wards are knock out matches. League matches are played for best of three 11 point set and knock out matches are played for best of five 11 point set.

-Finisher Trophies for the top 2 positions in all categories.

-A specially designed F.U.2020 T-Shirts for all participants.

-Refreshments will be available for all participants

-Event starts from 10 AM on wards (tentatively)

-The last date to register is Thursday 10 Dec 2020

-The tournament starts from 10 AM on Saturday 10 Oct 2020 on wards (tentatively)

-Standard Squash rules are followed.

-Dunlop Pro Double Yellow Dot balls will be used.

-Referees and the organizers decision will be binding.

-Fixtures & Schedule will be shared at least a day prior to the tournament day.

-It becomes extremely difficult to entertain individual requests for changes in the fixtures and matches schedule. So, let's avoid that. Fixture & schedule once published cannot be changed.

-SWYNG deserves the right to modify the dates/format for reasons beyond their control and will be duly communicated. SWYNG also deserves the right to modify/scrap a category/prize money depending on the participation count.

-All participants are responsible for their personal safety and by registering agree to the standard terms & conditions of any tournament.

• The successful occurrence of the tournament is may depend of the orders in place by the authorities/governments managing COVID19.
