Tournament Details

Li-Ning SWYNG Badminton Women's Open on Sunday 07 March 2021 at SWYNG Badminton & Squash Sarjapur Road on the occasion of International Women's Day.

The last date to register for is Fri 05 Mar 2021(before 10 PM)

-Categories: Girls Under 13, Girls Under 17, Women's Singles & Women's Doubles

-Participation Fee: Rs. 500/- for Singles & Rs. 800/- for Doubles

-Maximum participation: 32 teams for each category

-Format: Round Robin League cum Knockout. League within 4 or 8 groups of 3/4/5 players(basis number of entries) and the top player/team of each group will proceed to Knock-out Stage. League matches are played for one 21 point set and knock-out matches are played for the best of three 21 point sets.

- The cut-off date of birth for Girls U13 & Girls U17age categories is as U13: Born on or after 01/01/2008 and U17: Born on or after 01/01/2004

- Age proof document must be produced for verification if asked.

- A player can participate in multiple age categories within the age limits viz, a U13 girl is eligible to participate in U17.

-Merchandise vouchers worth Rs. 24,000 (Rs. 4,000 for the champion & Rs. 2,000 for runner up) from Li-Ning Studio (https://lining.studio/) and trophies for the top 2 finishers in all categories.

-Discount vouchers from Li-Ning Studio apparel for all participants.

-Discount vouchers from Sugar Cosmetics for all participants.

-Refreshments will be available for all participants

-Event starts from 10 AM onwards (tentatively)

-Li-Ning Champ Feather shuttles will be used for G13 & G17 categories. Li-Ning Bolt Gold shuttles will be used for WS & WD.

-The courts at the venue are premium synthetic mats with rubber padding.

- On-spot registrations will cost an additional Rs. 100. Accepting on-spot registrations is the organizer's discretion.

-Fixtures & Schedules will be shared at least a day prior to the tournament day. Fixture & schedule once published cannot be changed at the player's request.

-SWYNG deserves the right to modify the dates/format for reasons beyond their control and will be duly communicated. SWYNG also deserves the right to modify/scrap a category/reward depending on the participation count.

-All participants are responsible for their personal safety and by registering, they agree to the standard terms & conditions of any tournament.

COVID19 Precautions:

- The courts, center premises, seating area, washrooms will be thoroughly sanitized prior to the start of the tournament.

- The doorknobs & other high-frequent touchpoints will be sanitized periodically.

- Matches will be scheduled staggered to avoid crowding.

- All participants & others entering the center will be temperature screened.

- Hand sanitizers & hand wash liquids will be available as usual.

- Players are advised to exercise their personal safety precautions, observe their symptoms, carry their own water and sweat wipes.
