🏸 Mountaineers Badminton Championship – Rules & Guidelines

1. Tournament Format

• The tournament will follow a League format up to the Semi-finals, ensuring every player/pair gets multiple matches.
• Knockout rounds will begin from the Semi-finals onward.

1. Minimum Entry Requirement for Cash Prize

• Cash prizes will be awarded only if there are at least 16 entries in the category to maintain fairness in prize distribution.

1. Shuttlecock Used

• All matches will be played using Yonex Mavis 350 nylon shuttles for quality and consistency.

1. Player Eligibility

• The event is open to both male and female players. Mixed doubles or gender-neutral pairs are welcome.

1. Match Decisions

• Umpire’s decision is final in all matters related to the match. No disputes will be entertained post-decision.

1. Rewards & Incentives

• Winners will get free entry to our next tournament.
• Runners-up will receive 50% off on their next tournament entry.
• Semi-finalists will also be recognized with a commemorative shield.
