Tournament Details

Sporthood presents the Republic Day Cup & Shield Tournament for kids on Jan 26th at Sporthood Sarjapur Road. 

Date: Jan 26th

Venue: Sporthood Sarjapur Tournament

Age groups: U11 boys, U11 girls

                     U13 boys, u13 girls

                      U15 boys, u15 girls

Time: 10 AM - 4 PM

Registration fees - Rs 500  

Format: Cup & shield - First round winners will compete for the CUP & runners will compete for the SHIELD

Rules and Regulations :

1. Age proof is mandatory
2. Organizers / Umpire decision will be final.
3. Feather Shuttles will be used.
4. The last date to register is 24th Jan 2021
5. Players are requested to report 15 mins prior to the reporting time.
6. First-round matches will be played for 21 points in a single set.
7. All matches from the second round will be played for 11 points best of 3 sets
8. Finals will be played for 15  points best of 3 sets 

Covid precautions :

• Only one person will be allowed inside the venue along with the participant during their scheduled time. Participants will be allowed during their scheduled time only.
• The courts, centre premises, seating area, washrooms will be thoroughly sanitized prior to the start of the tournament.
• The doorknobs & other high frequent touchpoints will be sanitized periodically.
• Matches will be scheduled staggered to avoid crowding.
• All participants & others entering the centre will be temperature screened.
• Hand sanitisers & hand wash liquids will be available as usual.
• Players are advised to exercise their personal safety precautions, observe their symptoms, carry their own water bottles and sweat wipes.
