Tournament Details

Hi,

Announcing SWYNG Badminton & Table Tennis Corporate Championship on Sunday 10 November 2019, at SWYNG Badminton Hoodi (Gopalan International School, Hoodi)

Badminton:

- Categories : Men’s Singles , Men’s Doubles, Women's Singles, Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles

- Participation Fee: Rs. 600/- for Singles and Rs. 1000/- Doubles

- Maximum participation: 32 players(teams) for each category

- Format: Round Robin League cum Knockout. League within groups of 4 and the top player/team of each group will proceed to play quarter finals. Matches from quarterfinal on wards are knock out matches. League matches are played for one 21 point set and knock out matches are played for best of three 21 point set.

- Medal for all winners and runners up in all categories

- Event starts from 9 AM onwards (tentatively)

- Standard Badminton rules are followed.

- Yonex Mavis 350 shuttles will be used.

Table Tennis:

- Categories : Men’s Singles , Men’s Doubles, Women's Singles, Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles

- Participation Fee: Rs. 600/- for Singles and Rs. 1000/- Doubles

- Maximum participation: 32 players(teams) for each category

- Format: Round Robin League cum Knockout. League within groups of 4 and the top player/team of each group will proceed to play quarter finals. Matches from quarterfinal on wards are knock out matches. League matches are played for one best of three sets of 11 points and knock out matches are played for best of five sets of 11 point set.

- Medal for all winners and runners up in all categories

- Event starts from 9 AM onwards (tentatively)

- Standard Table Tennis rules are followed.

- Stag Seam Plastic TT balls will be used.

• There is no limit on number of players/teams from a company
• Cash prize for Rs. 4,000 for the winner and Rs. 2,000 for runner up for all categories
• Company will be awarded 2 points and 1 points on every category win and runner up position. Company winning maximum points both Badminton and Table Tennis combined will be declared overall corporate champion.
• Last date to send in entries is Nov 08, 2019
• Employees of different companies can team up for doubles categories.
• A valid company email ID is mandatory for all players. And may be company ID card. Sigh!
• An invoice will be shared on request after the tournament day.
• Fixtures & Schedule will be shared at least a day prior to the tournament day.
• Referees and the organizers decision will be binding.
• Fixtures & Schedule will be shared at least a day prior to the tournament day.
• It becomes extremely difficult to entertain individual requests for changes in the fixtures and matches schedule. So, let's avoid that. Fixture & schedule once published cannot be changed.
• SWYNG deserves the right to modify the dates/format for reasons beyond their control and will be duely communicated. SWYNG also deserves the right to modify/scrap a category/prize money depending on the participation count.
• All participants are responsible for their personal safety and by registering agree to the standard terms & conditions of any tournament.
