-Singles :

Boys U11, Boys U13, Boys U15, Boys U17, Boys U19, Girls U11, Girls U13, Girls U15, Girls U17, Girls U19, Men's Open, Men's Masters (Over 40), Women's Open & Pro-Coach

Doubles:

Boys U19, Girls U19, Men's Open, Women's Open, Men's Masters (Over 40), Men's Veterans(Over 55), Women's Queens(Over 40), U19 Mixed, Open Mixed, Masters(Over 40) Mixed, Pro-Coaches

Format of the tournament: Qualifiers & Knock out.

-Qualifiers Round: All registered players of a category play two matches with randomly picked two others players registered in the category and ranked based on Matches Won-Lost and then Points Won-Lost. The matches in the qualifiers round are played for single set of 30 points. The top 32 players proceed to knock out round with the same seeding.

-Knock-out Round: The top 32 players from the qualifying round are seeded 1-32 and play knock out matches for a draw of 32. All knock out matches are played for best of 3 sets of 21 points.

-The last date/time to register is around 23 Jan 2021. The deadline may vary with category.

-Participation Fee: Singles -Rs. 650 /- & Doubles -Rs. 950/-

-Trophies & prizes for the top 3 finishers in all categories.

27 Jan - Boys & Girls U19 Singles, Boys & Girls U19 Doubles, U19 Mixed Doubles, Pro Coach Singles & Doubles: 04.00 PM Onwards

28 Jan - Men's Masters(Over 40) Singles & Doubles, Men's Veterans (Over 55 Doubles), Women's Queens (Over 40) Doubles, Masters (Over 40) Mixed Doubles: 06.00 PM Onwards

29 Jan - Men's Open Singles & Doubles, Women's Open Singles & Doubles, Open Mixed Doubles: 09.00 AM Onwards

Semi-Finals & Finals

30 Jan - All categories: 08.00 AM Onwards

-Lining Champ feather shuttles will be used for U11-U17 categories. Yonex Mavis 350 shuttles will be used for U19 & adults categories.

-Standard Badminton rules are followed. The referee's decision will be binding.

-The courts at the venue are premium synthetic mats and/or wooden courts with premium synthetic mats.

Cut off Age for categories:

U11 - Born on or after 1 Jan 2011.

U13 - Born on or after 1 Jan 2009.

U15 - Born on or after 1 Jan 2007.

U17 - Born on or after 1 Jan 2005.

U19 - Born on or after 1 Jan 2003.

Men's Masters / Women' Queens (O40)- Born on or before 1 Jan 1982.

Men's Veterans(O55) - Born on or before 1 Jan 1967.

Men's Masters(040) / Women's Queens'/ Mixed Masters (Doubles)- Both the players should be above 40 years old and above.

-The last date/time to register is around 23 Jan 2021. The deadline may vary with category.

-Pro Coach players must submit substantiate proof to justify that they are coaches.

-SWYNG deserves the right to modify the dates/format for reasons beyond their control and will be duly communicated. SWYNG also reserves the right to modify/scrap a category/prize money depending on the participation count if less than 16 registrations for any category

-All participants are responsible for their personal safety and by registering, they agree to the standard terms & conditions of any tournament.

The successful occurrence of the tournament is may depend on the orders in place by the authorities/governments managing COVID19.
