Men’s Open Singles

A player can participate in more than 1 category of the competition subject meeting the age/gender criteria.

A minimum of four players is required to retain the competition

Under 11 & Under 13 are common competition for boys and girls.

Age Criteria:

Under 11 - Born after 01 Feb 2015

Under 13 - Born after 01 Feb 2013

Under 15 - Born after 01 Feb 2011

Participation Fee:

Rs. 500/-

The last date & time to register is 06 PM Friday 30 Jan 2026.

Format of the tournament:

-The format of the competition is League followed by Knockout.

-All registered players of a category are grouped in to 4 or 8 groups. (4 groups for≤16 participants & 8 groups for >16 participants). i.e. each group is of size maximum 4 players.

-A round-robin league within a group (of ≤4 players) and each group's top player will proceed to the Knock-Out Stage. i.e. either QF or SF.

-The league matches are played for the best of three 11-point sets & the knock-out matches are played for the best of five 11-point sets.

-Standard Squash rules are followed & Stag Seam Plastic TT balls are played.

Rewards:

-The top 2 finishers of each category competition will be awarded with trophies and other rewards.

-Certifications are given for U11/U13/U15 participants & finishers.

11 AM onwards on Sun 01 Feb 2026 - All Categories

A detailed schedule is shared on Saturday 31 Jan 2026.

Fixtures & Schedule:

-Fixtures & Schedules will be shared by 10 PM on Sat 31 Jan 2026 over the registered email. Once published, the fixture & schedule cannot be changed at the player's request.

Important Notes:

-Referees and the organizer's decision on matches scoring be final & binding.

-SWYNG reserves the right to modify the dates/format for reasons beyond their control and this will be duly communicated.

-SWYNG reserves the right to reject the registration of players with undesirable history including but not limited to willingly causing delays to the tournament, rogue behaviour, etc. Such rejected registrations will be refunded without citing any reason(s).

-SWYNG also reserves the right to modify/scrap a category/prize money depending on the participation count.

-A cancelation of registration can be done before the last date/time of registration i.e.06 PM Friday 30 Jan 2026 by text/call on 9108475471. Such cancelations are eligible for refunds after 10% cancelation charges. Please note payment gateways take 3-5 business days to credit the refunds.
