   Rules & Regulations

1. Reporting Time

Players must report 30 minutes before their scheduled match. Failure to report on time may result in

a walkover.

2. ID Proof

Participants must carry a valid government-issued ID proof. Organizers reserve the right to verify

identity at any time.

3. Match Format

Matches will normally be played as 1 set to 21 points. The Tournament Committee reserves the

right to modify the match format, scoring system, or tournament structure based on the number of

entries, available time, or operational requirements. The Committee's decision shall be final.

4. Warm-Up

Players will be allowed a maximum of 2 minutes of warm-up before the match.

5. Equipment

Players must bring their own racquets, shoes, and accessories. Non-marking badminton shoes are

recommended.

6. Conduct & Discipline

Respect opponents, officials, coaches, and volunteers. Misconduct or abusive behaviour may lead

to disqualification.

7. Walkover Rule

A player absent for more than 5 minutes after being called may forfeit the match.

8. Injury & Medical

Players participate at their own risk. Organizers are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or loss of belongings.

9. Fixtures & Scheduling

Match timings may change depending on tournament progress. Participants should regularly check announcements.

10. Photography & Media

Photos and videos may be taken during the tournament and used for promotional purposes.

11. Fair Play

Any form of cheating, fraud, or misrepresentation will result in immediate disqualification without refund.

12. Organizer's Decision

The decision of the Tournament Committee and Referee shall be final and binding in all matters.

13. Entries, Match Format & Qualification

Each category has a maximum of 16 entries.

If a category has 16 entries:

• Pool League + Knockout format.

• Top 2 players/teams from each pool qualify for the knockout stage.

• Cash Prize will be awarded as announced.

If a category has fewer than 16 entries:

• The Tournament Committee may change the match format based on the number of entries.
