Tournament Details

JUNIOR STARS BADMINTON LEAGUE for Boys & Girls Under 9,11,13,15 is scheduled on 29 January 2023 at Smashers 2.0 Badminton Academy. The Tournament Format is oriented to help our budding Players to get good match exposure and play the sport in a competitive way.

Tournament Format (Round Robin & Knockout) :

Categories

• Boys & Girls Under-9 (Born on or after 1 Jan 2014)

• Boys & Girls Under-11 (Born on or after 1 Jan 2012)

• Boys & Girls Under-13 (Born on or after 1 Jan 2010)

• Boys & Girls Under-15 (Born on or after 1 Jan 2008)

Round-Robin Stage :

• Each player plays 3 matches (best of 15 points) in Round-Robin stage.

• Player winning 2 out of 3 matches qualifies for Knockout. Player winning 1 out of 3 matches receives a medal and certificate.

• Round robin stage is oriented for more beginner players to get match practice and improve on their game.

Feather Shuttles will be used.

KnockOut Stage :

• Player winning 2 out of 3 matches in respective groups qualifies for Knockout.

• Knockout Round Matches will be Best of 21 points.

Prize Details

Trophies & Certificates for Winners , Runners Up & Semi-Finalists.

Medals & Certificates for winning 1 match in Round-Robin stage.
