Tournament Details

JUNIOR STARS TENNIS LEAGUE for Boys & Girls Under 10,12,14 & 16 is scheduled to start on 19th Feb 2023.

The Tournament Format is oriented to help Junior Players to get good match exposure and play the sport in a competitive way. Thanks to all Coaches, Parents & Players for supporting and providing essential feedback.

Match Dates :

19th Feb, Sun - Round Robin / League matches.

25th, 26th Feb - Knockouts.

Venue :

• IPL Powerpak Tennis Academy , Taramani, Chennai-600113

• St.Micheals Tennis Academy , Adyar, Chennai-600020

Tournament Format (Round Robin & Knockout) :

Round-Robin Stage :

• Each player plays 3 matches (best of 7 games) in Round-Robin stage.

• Player winning 2 out of 3 matches qualifies for Knockout. Player winning 1 out of 3 matches receives a medal and certificate.

• Round robin stage is oriented for more beginner players to get match practice and improve on their game.

KnockOut Stage :

• Player winning 2 out of 3 matches in respective groups qualifies for Knockout.

• Matches will be Best of 11 games.

• Boys & Girls Under-10 (Born on or after 1 Jan 2013)

• Boys & Girls Under-12 (Born on or after 1 Jan 2011)

• Boys & Girls Under-14 (Born on or after 1 Jan 2009)

• Boys & Girls Under-16 (Born on or after 1 Jan 2007)

Prize Details :

Trophies & Certificates for Winners , Runners Up & Semi-Finalists.

Medals & Certificates for winning 1 match in Round-Robin stage.
