ICAI DXB 2021 - "Leisure Badminton Tournament"

ELIGIBILITY TO PLAY

1.   This Badminton Tournament is organized only for the ICAI Dubai Chapter Members.

2.   The members who are interested to play the tournament should have already been paid their fee for the year 2021 or should pay at the venue AED 525/ [AED 315/ for senior members] before his/her match starts.  

3.   AED 30/ will be the fee for each entry and must be paid at the counter before the match begins. [To make it clearer, if a member is playing in 2 match categories for example Singles & Doubles, he/she has to pay AED 60/].

COVID PROTOCOL

4.   COVID19 protocol should be followed strictly. There will be COVID inspectors in the venue and all members should adhere to their rules. #WEAREALLRESPONSIBLE.

5.   Please maintain social distance at all times, wear a mask immediately after your game and avoid friends and visitors into the court.

6.   Sanitize your hands after each game and kindly wear your mask if you are taking group photos.

7.   Players should strictly avoid crowds at the venue. Hence all players are requested t show up only during the scheduled time slot and need to leave the venue, once their matches are over.

GAME GUIDELINES

8.   The Individuals/teams need to report 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time slot. If did not show up on time, will be declared as the loser.

9.   All the Matches are on Knock out basis.

10. All the Matches (except Semifinals and Finals) shall be for 21 points.

11. Semi-Finals and Finals shall be for 15 Points with a Best of Three matches.

12. All Matches will be as per BWF guidelines and the Umpire’s decision will be final.

13. Players must ensure that they are fit to play. ICAI Dubai will not be responsible for any injuries caused to the players.

14. Decent Sports attire is a must. A T-Shirt will be provided to all players.

15. All Players should wear Non-Marking (Indoor) Shoes for playing.

TIMELINES

·        Registration opens at 11:30 PM

·        Men’s OPEN (Singles & Doubles) will Start from 12 PM

·        Men’s Masters 45+ will starts from 3 PM

·        Women’s Matches will start from 5 PM

·        First Match Starts at 1:00 PM.
