Tournament Details

Players Responsibilities

1.     Player to get his own Racquet.

2.     Player should wear shoes always. Presenting themselves for competition play in a suitable smart manner with clean and acceptable badminton sports clothing.

3.     Respect the decision of the umpire.

4.      The shuttles and net are available on the court.

5.      The player should be available at least 10min before there match if not the opponent would be declared winning after certain time bound. / Not arriving late for a match, resulting in a “no-show”.

6.      Respecting technical officials and not trying to influence the decisions of technical officials in any way using an arm, hand, racket gestures, or orally.

7.      Complying with the goodwill formalities before, during and after any match including thanking Technical Officials and shaking hands with opposing Players. Players must thank their opponents and umpire before leaving the field of play to celebrate with their coach or the crowd.

8.      Not intentionally hitting a shuttle dangerously or recklessly within or out of the court, hitting a shuttle with negligent disregard for the consequences, or deliberately damaging a shuttle.

9.      Not deliberately tampering with the shuttle to affect its flight or speed.

10.  Not intentionally and violently destroying or damaging rackets or other equipment, or intentionally and violently hitting the net, court, umpire’s chair or other fixtures during a match.

11.  Refrain from making statements, either within the precincts of the Tournament site or in the media, that are abusive, insulting, personal in nature, imply bias or question the integrity of others.

12.  Not physically abusing other participants. Even the unauthorized touching of such persons may be regarded as physical abuse.

Match Rules

·        Each team are played as the form of Knock OutsàWin and proceed to next level

·        Each game is played for 15 points, who reaches first to 15 wins the game.

·        One set has 3 games, and the winning team must win 2 games.

·        Each game a break could be taken at half point @ 7 for 2min.

·        If the team win two straight games the 3^rd is not played and required.

·        Win toss team could decide to choose to court/serve.

·        Every game would be provided with new shuttle.

·        All standard badminton rules are applied lie some.

Ø Service played by hitting one time the shuttles

Ø The whole shuttle shall be below the server’s waist at the instant of

being hit by the server’s racket. The waist shall be considered to be an

imaginary line round the body, level with the lowest part of the server’s

bottom rib.

Ø No crossing net or touching net.

·        If there is a situation of game couldn’t play future the highest point scorer team would be declared as the winning team.
