RULES & REGULATIONS

Right to entry is reserved and to the sole discretion of the organizing authority.

Entry fees are as follows:

TEAM EVENT @ 6,000/- per Team + 18% GST

MIXED DOUBLES @ 1,000/- per pair + 18% GST

MEN’S DOUBLES @ 1,000/- per pair + 18% GST

MEN’S SINGLES @ 500/- per player + 18% GST

The names of the players will be enlisted for the championship only on receipt of the entry fee.

Equipment’s provided: Table/Nets: STAG AMERICAS Balls: DHS SEAM BALL D40+ Flooring: Matted floor for Table Tennis

Requirements:

All participants are required to give a photo copy of their office ID along with their proof of entry fee submission in soft / hard copy.

Reporting time is at least 30 mins before the match schedule.

Participants must not wear such T-Shirt which have WHITE at the main portion of frontal side of the respective T-Shirt.

Teams are required to report on time as mentioned in the SCHEDULE to be circulated during CAPTAIN’S MEET, otherwise walk over would be given.

All participants will have to adhere by the decisions of the umpire.

In all matters, the decision of the CHIEF REFEREE is final.

Playing rules: ITTF & TTFI rules will apply in all the matches

FORMATION OF TEAM / DOUBLES PAIR:

Min 4 & Max. 6 can make a team (irrespective of Male & Female) from A / Different CORPORATE house(s).

One / Multiple team(s) can participate from each Corporate House

In MIXED / MENS DOUBLES – A pair can be formed from A / Different CORPORATE house(s).

SEQUENCE OF MATCHES in TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS:

In a TEAM MATCH the sequence will be 1 SET of Singles Match (A vs X) followed by 1 SET of DOUBLES Match & 1 SET OF Singles Match (B vs Y) respectively.

In TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP, No player will be allowed to play more than one SET of Games

A SET means Best of 3 Games.

At the end of any MATCH in TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS at LEAGUE STAGE, 2 points will be awarded against each WINNING GAME & 1 Point for each loosing GAME. 0 points in case of WALK OVER.

At the end of any match in TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS, Difference of points earned by two competing Teams will be their actual gaining points.

At the end of all matches in respective Group of TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS, the TOTAL POINTS will define their actual position in LEAGUE TABLE

In TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS, depending upon the Total no. of TEAM, initially there will be ROUND ROBIN LEAGUE system followed by Knock-out / Super League system will be applicable to define WINNER, RUNNER & 3^rd POSITION.

In TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP at KNOCK-OUT stage the result will be on basis of Winning No. of Matches

In SINGLES / DOUBLES event, the system of match will be explained during the CAPTAIN’s MEET depending upon the Total No. of Entry in respective event & available hourse.

In SINGLES / DOUBLES, A SET means Best of 3 Games in GROUP LEAGUE & Best of 5 Games in KNOCK-OUT STAGE.

TROPHIES will be awarded to WINNER & RUNNER of TEAM & SINGLES Event.

MEDALS will be awarded to each individual of WINNER / RUNNER of TEAM / DOUBLES PAIR and the 3^rd POSITION holder in each event will be awarded Bronze Medal only. There will be NO JOINT 3^rd / 4^th POSITION.

MERIT CERTIFICATES will also be awarded to the position holders.

Other than the MERIT CERTIFICATE holders, rest participants will get PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATES & Memento.
