Tournament Details

MATCH RULES:

GENERAL: 

General: 

1. 5 overs per side, per match.  

2. As each team has to select 7 or more players, every player should be given a chance.

3. the bowling team has responsibility to complete the quota of 5 overs within 15 min. 

4. balls after the given time will be penalised by 1 run per ball. 5 runs per over. 

5. each bowler can bowl a maximum of 1 over. 

6. runs, points, run rate everything is noted by the umpires. 

7. Run rate is calculated later in the day (no player, no captain are allowed to interfere with calculation of run rates)

8. everything regarding the tournament has to be discussed only in person or in the field ( to make the clarification and the play smooth)

9. opposition captain can ask for the penalty for arguing with umpire ONLY ON THE FIELD. 

10. The interval between matches will be of only 5min, if being late (more than 5 min) penalty of 10 ns will be given to the opposition team. each 5 mins cost you 10 runs. this will be implied for sure.

11. Umpires decision is final. 

12. If the batsmen have passed each other, the one running for the wicket that is broken is out; if they have not crossed, the one running from that wicket is out

EXTRAS: 

13. if the ball is on the line, will be called as wide.

14. there is nothing called wide if the ball is above the stumps (without pitching).

15. arguing with the umpire will be penalised by -0.5 in run rate. (certain extent is fine).

16. all kind of no balls are awarded with free hit. 

17. no ball dismissals-run out. (not stumping) 

18. if the ball is pitched more than once before reaching the popping crease, called as no ball.

(only the boundaries counted). 

19. if the ball is pitched more than once and stopped before the popping crease will be called as dead ball. (no runs counted).

20. No outside player (hasn’t registered) should be playing without a valid reason, only in case of emergency and with the acceptation of the opposite team. 

21.if someone new comes in between the tournament the team which have less player will be allowed to bid for the player (with the money left from auction).

22. if a player is injured when he bowls, no over cut or baby cut is given. The injured player must leave the field and can bat if he is alright. 

23. no concussion substitutes are allowed; Substitutes are not allowed to bat and bowl as well. 

24. No swapping of players between teams during the tournament.

25. players cannot be transferred from one team to other, even all four captains accepted the transfer.

26.you will be allowed to swap players or make a transfer between the groups during the auction. 

27. Audience should not interfere in the umpire’s decision.

28. No swapping of players between teams. 

29. If in case you lack a proper bowler, in the sense, the quota of your bowlers is over and you have none, you can speak with the opposite captain and give 10 runs instead of bowling .a player who knows bowling should not throw while bowling 

30. No substitute will be given if a player of your team is late or not available.
