Points Table Explanation In a round-robin tournament, a points table is used to rank players in each group based on their performance during the group stage. Below is how the points table works:

Points Allocation Win: 2 points Loss: 0 points No draws are possible in table tennis.

Ranking Criteria Points: Higher points rank higher. Match Difference: If two or more players have the same points, the difference between matches won and lost is used as a tiebreaker. Head-to-Head: If the tie persists, the winner of the head-to-head match is ranked higher. Each group will have its own points table.
