Rules and Regulations

• Only IMA Members are eligible to play in men’s events .
• Ladies event is for the IMA members and non-doctor spouses of IMA Members .
• For the Men's Doubles Open event , partners should be from the same IMA branch.
• In mixed doubles, the male player must be an IMA member only and the female player may be an IMA Member or spouse of an IMA Member.
• Doctors from any other system of medicine, Dentists and Interns are not eligible to participate. Anyone found to be partnering with such non IMA members will be disqualified from the tournament.
• A player can participate in any 2 events only, apart from mixed doubles.
• Players should carry ID proof of DOB and proof of IMA membership .
• In doubles events, names of the partners should be mentioned while giving entries.
• There will be no on the spot entry.
• There should be a minimum of 8 entries for singles and 6 team entries for doubles, if not the event will be considered as void.
• Non Marking shoes are mandatory.
• Reporting time on 13-08-2022 is 9-00AM.
• Walkover will be given if there is delay in reporting after a match is called(more than 15 minutes).
• Only a 15 minutes gap will be given to a player who is having two consecutive matches in different events.
• Technical committee's decision will be final in case of any disputes.
