Tournament Details

The tournament will be 11' A side MRI Ball tournament, with two (04) extra players.

12 Teams in total will participate in the tournament.

3.1 The teams will be divided in to four (04) groups (A, B, C and D). Group matches will take place in League system. League Matches will be held for two sessions, Session 1 for Group A & B and session 2 for Group C & D.

3.2 Top team with the highest points from each group will be elected for Semi-finals.

3.3 Semi-finals will take place on knock-out system.

Points will be allocated in first round (League system) as follows,

• Winning team will be awarded with 02 points.

• In the event, where runs are equal 1 point will be awarded for each team.

• If equal points situation arises in first round, teams for quarterfinals will be elected based on NRR system. (Net Run Rate calculation will be done based on ICC Guidelines)

League matches will contain 6 Overs per innings. Semi Final matches will contain 8 Overs per Innings and Finals will contain 10 Overs per innings. The Match Referee has the full authority to make changes for this rule at any time based on the circumstances

Only MRI Red balls in daytime and MRI Green balls in the light will be used.

Only 1 bowler will be allowed to ball 2 overs during league games. 3 bowlers will be allowed to ball 2 overs during semi-final and 5 bowlers will be allowed to bowl 2 overs during Final.

Field restrictions: Only 5 fielders are allowed to stay out of 30-yard circle. The umpire can declare the delivery as No Ball in case of violation of this. In Final there will be 3 overs Powerplay per innings.
