Tournament Details

Dear Orbital family members,

On the occasion of Ganesh Utsav this year, the Ganesh Utsav committee is organizing a Table Tennis tournament for men and women. Please find the rules and regulations below:

1. A maximum of 64 players will be allowed to register in each category (men and women). The age criteria is 15 years and above..

2. The last day for registration is September 6, 2024. We will share the registration link soon.

3. The tournament will be held on September 08 and the semi-finals and finals on September 15, 2024. The league matches will be robin round format.

4. Every player must bring their own racket or bat. If not, the committee will provide one, subject to availability.

5. All players must wear sports attire, including a sports T-shirt, shorts or lowers, and sports shoes.

6. All matches will be played according to international table tennis rules.

7. A game is played to 11 points, with a two-point advantage (e.g., 11-9). A match consists of three sets.

8. If any player is not available at the assigned time, a walkover will be awarded to the opponent.

9. In case of any conflict during the tournament or matches, the committee reserves the right to make decisions.

10. Prizes will be awarded to the winners, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
