Tournament Details

Noida Sports Group Tournament Rules & Guidelines

• The Tournament will start sharp at 10:00 AM on 01st March 2020 at Noida Stadium (Sector 21 A).
• Reporting time for various categories will be intimated later, and players are requested to report 30 Min Prior to their scheduled time. 
• Original valid photo IDs with date of birth need to be produced at the registration desk.
• Confirmation of Teams is only after making the registration fee of Rs. 1000/- for each event.
• Non-marking shoes are mandatory to play at the venue, if anyone not having a non-marking shoe then the same can be rented for a price or Rs. 100 per hour from the sports shop inside the stadium. Kindly note Sports Shop is open between 10am and 11am only.  
• Incase you have a broken string during the tournament then you can get it stringed from the shop @400 Rs. for BG65. (price will change as per the chosen string)
• Fixtures will be available one day prior to the scheduled event i.e. on the 29th February 2020 and will be shared to all participants.
• All matches will be in a knockout format only the team wins will only be proceeding to the next level.
• Decisions of Organizers/Umpires will be final and binding on all the players.
• The Rules and regulations set out by the tournament organizers will be final.
• All matches except the semifinal, finals and loser finals will be of 31 Point (without any duce).
• For Semifinal, Finals and Loser final there will 3 sets with 15 points each (without any duce)
• Since we have very limited time slots and courts, adherence of timelines are to be strictly followed. 
• All communications regarding the Tournament will be done electronically only via a mobile app.
• All teams need to regularly check their next match schedule on the mobile app and report to the allocated court as the match schedule will be updated dynamically.
• Registered teams will be divided into different Pools and matches will be conducted simultaneously in different courts as per the drawn fixture.
• If any team does not report on time, the opposite team will get a walkover for playing in the next game as per the fixture.
• Match fee will not be refunded in any case of non-reporting / absence / any other reasons whatsoever.
• All games will have 1-minute warm-up time before commencement of the match.
• There will be only a 2 minutes break during the match if any player is injured. 
• First-aid will be available at the reception, if needed.. 
• Yonex Mavis 300 yellow nylon shuttlecocks will be used. On Every game new shuttlecocks will not be provided. New shuttlecocks will be provided as and when the used one is damaged and not fit for play. Decision to replace the shuttlecock will be at the discretion of the referee.  
• There will be No lunch break. Every team shall utilise time between the matches for the same.
• Safety of self and valuables are the sole responsibility of the individuals/players/visitors concerned. Organizers will not be responsible for injury to anyone due to any reason and any type of loss / damage to your valuables.
• Please note if there are not enough entries in the 'Open doubles' then we will have to call off the 45+ Category and combine it as one event only. 

Do's and Don'ts:

• Non-marking shoes are mandatory to play at the venue.
• Eatables are not allowed inside the Stadium/court.
• Please do not litter the Stadium/Court premises, make use of the provided dustbin as and when required.
• All match schedules will be available on the mobile app its the responsibility of the players to keep track of their next match and report to the respective courts on time.
• There is ample parking available on the Noida Stadium complex, please park at designated parking lot and DO NOT park your car obstructing other vehicles.
