A. Prize

1. Open Group:

1st Prize 5500 /- 2 Trophies

2nd Prize 3500 /- 2 Trophies

3rd Prize 2500 /- 2 Trophies

B. Tournament Rules

General Rules

1. Only Non-Marking Badminton Shoes are allowed on the Court.

2. Teams should report in Arena and mark presence to designated match organizer 15 mins prior to the matches.

3. If any team is late by more than 15 minutes to their match, other team will be awarded the win. So, we request you to adhere to the match timings.

Match organizer will have sole discretion on this decision.

4. Refreshment will be provided to each player during their match.

5. All the matches will be played with YONEX MAVIS 350 (GREEN CAP) Shuttle.

Match Rules

1. Toss will be done by Coin.

2. The winner of Toss will have choice of Court or Service.

3. No of sets and Points scoring:

● Matches will be of 3 sets. The team winning the two sets will be the winner.

● All matches will be played according to the international badminton rules.

● In case of tie at 29 points, a tiebreak point will be played. Team winning the tiebreak point will be awarded the win.

● A green card will be shown by the umpire in case of any misconduct during the match.

● On third green card, a yellow card will be shown and the ongoing point will be awarded to the opponent.

● On 5th green card, the match will be awarded to the opponent.

So, we kindly request and expect you to maintain the decorum and play fair.

● Umpire and Linesmen decision will be the final one. Misbehavior with them may lead to disqualification from tournament.

● Avoid using abusive language.

Match Scheduling

Open DIVISION:

1. Teams will be slotted in 4 different groups via lottery system.

2. The Top 4 seeds will be slotted first. The seeds are decided as per their position in last event organized by Kreeda Bharti.

3. After that, other teams will be slotted to their group via lottery.

4. The lottery will be open to all and will be done in Badminton Arena in front of the Participating members.

5. Each Team will play against all the Teams of their individual group.

6. Top 2 teams from each group will move to Quarter Finals.

A. In case of tie between 2 teams, the total of loss margin will be decider. Team with less loss margin will move to next round.

B. In case of total loss margin are also same, a single set tiebreaker will be played. The winner will move to next round.

7. Quarter Finals and Semi Final Fixture will also be decided by lottery.

8. There will be a 3rd Place match before the Final.

Junior division

1. All matches will be knockout.

2. Lottery will be done to pair up the teams.

3. There will be a 3rd place match before the final.
