Pledge of Sportsmanship.

(To be Read and understood by all participants)

In the name of all competitors, I promise that I shall take part in this Tournament, respecting and abiding by the rules that govern them, committing ourselves to a sport without doping and without drugs, in the true spirit of sportsmanship, for the glory of sport and the honor of our teams. I will refrain from engaging in all types of disrespectful behavior, including inappropriate language, taunting, trash talking, and unnecessary physical contact. No matter if I win or lose what count most is how I conduct myself and play my game in the spirit of belongingness, Peace and community enjoyment with my Competitors.

RULES:

Ø Single / Multiple Pools may be created for categories depending on participants.

Ø Player / Team MUST report at 15mins before the scheduled time.

Ø Weekends - 0800 hrs to 2000 hrs

Ø Players are categorized as Adv, Inter & Rookie

Ø If any team/Player is not available on time, then the match will be given as a walkover for the opponent. (unless mutually agreed & organizers approval)

Ø On the court, Umpire/ Referee/ Organizers decision is final. Arguments with referee or players would lead to disqualification of the player/ team. (refer MISCONDUCT section)

Ø In case of an injury during/start of the play the other player/team is awarded the match.

Ø Organization/Club/Host is not responsible for any injuries during the event.

Ø By registering to the event, you agree to terms and conditions of the organization/Club/host.

FORMAT

1.      Round Robin + Knockout - to ensure minimum of 2 games for each player.

2.      All matches are played for 30 points - No Deuce (30 golden Point) in League/Pre-Quarter/Quarter/Semi

3.      Finals - 3 sets of 21 point with Deuce 30

4.      In the league stage, each team plays against the remaining teams of their respective Pools.

5.      Third Place - Will be decided on the points system in the Semi Finals Round

6.      After the end of the league, the top 1/2 teams from Each Pool with maximum score will proceed to the Semi / finals. 

7.      In case of two teams ending up with the same points in the league / Semis stage, 

             A. Game Points will be calculated from the respective stage... Still Tied then...

             B. One match of 21 points till deuce till 30^th point will be the decider.

8.      If a team is unable to complete a match in a tie or retiring during a match shall be considered as a walkover to the opponent for that match.

9.      Break pattern: There will be a maximum of 1 minute break in each game whenever the lead scorer reaches 15 points for a side change.

We believe that respectful, professional conduct furthers our mission, promotes safe places to play, minimizes disputes, and enhances our reputation. We expect every player to show respect for all players and spectators. Harassment by co-players, opponents, or any third parties is a form of misconduct that destroys our environment and undermines the integrity of our relationship. We will not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment or unethical practices that violate this policy. Any Player who believes he /she has experienced or witnessed any conduct that is in violation of this policy should report immediately to
